The Imani Foundation was founded and incorporated in the State of Texas October 1996 by Dr. Jacquelyn Donald-Mims with the community and people-building in mind. "The Foundation" is federally approved as nonprofit public organization under IRS 501(c)(3) tax provision.
Encouraging Excellence
The Imani Foundation partners with the community people-building and building economic opportunities. "The Foundation" encourages excellence in families, youth, women, men, education and economic opportunity. It seeks to relieve crisis for the proportion of moderate and low-income families in need of support and those confronting barriers to success.
